ACPC Gujarat State Admission to MBA MCA 2019 Notification

ACPC Gujarat MBA MCA Admission 2019: Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) has invited notification from the eligible Applicants for admission in first year of MBA, MCA & MCA Lateral Entry (Direct Second Year) in Govt., Grant-in Aid & Self-Financed Institutes in Gujarat State, on State quota of all institutions Mgt. Quota surrendered seats of self-financed Institutes.

Seats Available for Admission

Government Seats

  • All the sanctioned seats of the MBA Course in the Govt. Colleges or Institutions of the State (or); All the sanctioned seats of the MBA Course in the aided Colleges or Institutions (or); 75% of the total sanctioned seats of the MBA Course in the unaided Colleges or Institutions, and (or); All supernumerary seats of the professional courses in the Govt. Colleges or Institutions and in the aided and unaided Colleges or Institutions.

Management Seats

  • 25% seats of the total sanctioned seats of the MBA Course in the unaided Colleges or Institutions, including fifteen percent Non-Resident Indian (NRI) seats (or); Intimation received, in respect of sanction of seats, by the Admission Committee three days prior to the commencement of the first counseling program, shall be considered as available seats.
  • The unaided college or institution shall fill up the Management Seats up to 5 % of the sanctioned intake from the students of the out of the State, on the basis of CMAT of corresponding year and inter-se merit prepared in accordance with the provisions of rule 11 irrespective of whether such Applicant has applied to the admission.

Eligibility Criteria for ACPC Gujarat MBA MCA Admission 2019

For the purpose of admission, an Applicant shall have appeared in the Common Mgt. Aptitude Test (CMAT) as prescribed by AICTE, for the corresponding year.

The applicant shall have passed the qualifying exam with the minimum of 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/SEBC category Applicants) from –

  • a University situated in the Gujarat State; or
  • a University situated outside the Gujarat State provided that the Applicant shall have passed the HSSC Exam(Standard XII, 10+2 pattern) or its equivalent exam from-

The Gujarat Board; or

The Central Board of Secondary Education: Provided that –

  • The school in which the Applicant has studied, shall have been located in the State of Gujarat; or
  • The school in which the Applicant has studied, shall have been located in the Union Territories of Daman and Diu or Dadra and Nagar Haveli; or

The Council of Indian School Certificate Exam, New Delhi: Provided that –

  • The school in which the Applicant has studied, shall have been located in the State of Gujarat; or
  • The school, in which the Applicant has studied, shall have been located in the Union Territories of Daman and Diu or Dadra and Nagar Haveli

Explanation

50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/SEBC category Applicants) shall be computed on the basis of grand total or, cumulative grade point average as shown in the final year mark sheet of the University In case of grade points, the Applicant shall be required to produce equivalence percentage certificate from the University.

The Pandit Deendayal University established under the Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University Act,2007 (Guj. 14 of 2007) shall be granted on the basis of merit order obtained in the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institute of Management; and

Amrut Modi School of Management, Ahmedabad, a constituent college of the Ahmedabad University established under the Ahmedabad University Act, 2009 (Guj. 08 of 2009) shall be granted.

Reservation of Seats

For the purpose of admission, the seats shall be reserved for the Applicants who are of Gujarat origin and falling under the following categories and in following proportion, namely:

  • Scheduled Castes: 7%
  • Scheduled Tribes: 15%
  • Socially and Educationally Backward Classes, including Widows and orphan of any caste: 27%
  • Provided that the Applicant belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes shall be required to produce a certificate to the effect of non-inclusion in Creamy Layer in addition to the caste certificate.

ACPC Gujarat MBA MCA Admission 2019 Online Registration

Online Counselling Registration Link for ACPC MBA / MCA Admission 2019 will start in the month of June 2019. Applicant should visit website www.gujacpc.nic.in or register through the direct link that will be given below

Applicant should enter his/her CMAT Roll No. of CMAT 2019. Please note that after the due date, the Applicant will not be allowed to register online. The Applicant who purchase MBC PIN can be registered for both MBA/MCA at the same time.

The Applicant does not require to register for MBA-MCA course separately.

The Applicant can get the PIN Cover for MBA or MCA by paying Rs.500/- and for MBC (for MBA & MCA Both) by paying Rs.750/- in cash from the designated branches of Kotak Mahindra Bank (as per the Bank Branch list available on site www.jacpcldce.ac.in link MBA/MCA) during banking hours (except holidays).

The Applicant has to bring required original documents for the verification.

List of designated help centres will also be available on web site www.jacpcldce.ac.in.

  • MCA link. Documents verification for each and every Applicant is necessary. Without document verification, your registration cannot be confirmed/ completed.

Merit List

Preparation of Merit List – The merit list of the Applicants who have applied for admission in the manner prescribed by the Admission Committee, within the prescribed time limit and who are found eligible for admission under these rules, shall be prepared in the following manner, namely:

For the Applicants who have passed the Qualifying Examination from any of the Boards, on the basis of marks obtained in the Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT).
