AP MCET-AC 2016 Notification | Andhra Pradesh MBBS BDS Courses 2016

Andhra Pradesh Private Medical & Dental Colleges Managements Association (APPMDCMA), Vijayawada has invited applications for admission to MBBS and BDS Courses 2016 sessions through Common Entrance Test.

Eligibility Criteria for AP MCET-AC-2016

As per medical council of India/Dental Council of India/Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences.

Applicants should have qualified at MCET-AC-2016 and shall secure not less than 50% of marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) /Bio-technology are eligible for admission into MBBS & BDS Courses and, they fulfill other relevant conditions laid down in these regulations as per MCI / DCI guidelines.

Age Limit: Applicants should have completed the age of 17 years by 31st December 2016.

No request for relaxation of age of applicant shall be entertained.

Exam Pattern for AP MCET AC 2016

  • Computer Based (Online) MCET-AC will be conducted for admission into the MBBS & BDS Courses as per GOI Ms.No.33 HM & FW Dept. Dated 17th April 2015 of Government of Andhra Pradesh.
  • The Computer Based (Online) AMCET-AC will be conducted on 13th May 2016 from 02.00 pm to 05.00 pm at the centres notified.
  • The duration of Exam is 3 hours (180 minutes)

Pattern for Question Paper & Evaluation

(a) Question paper is of MCQ Pattern; (b) the question Paper will be in English & Telugu; (c) Each correct response shall be awarded one mark; (d) There is no negative mark for incorrect response; (e) No mark will be given for the question not answered; (f) Minimum marks required to qualify in the entrance test shall be 50%.

The Computer Based (Online) EAMCET-AC consists of 160 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ’s).

The standard of the exam will be that of 10+2, Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh.

The approximate distribution of the questions will be as follows: Botany (40 questions); Zoology (40 questions); Chemistry (40 questions); Physics (40 questions); Total No. of Questions: 160.

Hall Tickets

The eligible Applicant shall download the hall ticket through online from the website from 09th May 2016 to 13th May 2016 at 10.00 am onwards by entering his/her User id and password as communicated to the Applicant through SMS/E-mail.

How to Apply?

Eligible Applicants who wish to apply for MCET-AC-2016 may submit their applications through online mode only; the online application form is available at

The Applicants shall fill the on line application form; the Registration fee for the MCET-AC is Rs.2000/- (Rupees Eighteen hundred only).

The fee can be paid by Credit Card or Debit Card or by Net Banking.

The Applicants are advised to take a printout of the filled in application form after completion of the application form and to note down the application number.

Last Date for Submission of Application Form: May 01st 2016

Date of MBBS and BDS Entrance Test: May 13th 2016 (02.00 pm to 05.00 pm)
