All India Entrance Test for admission to BDS Course in Private Un-Aided Dental College of Himachal Pradesh
The Association of Private Unaided Dental Colleges, Himachal Pradesh has invited applications for All India Entrance Test for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) Course 2016 session.
The Private College-wise total seats are as under:
State Quota: (i) 30 seats for HDC Sundernagar, (ii) 30 seats for MNDAV, (iii) 30 seats for BDC Bhud Baddi, (iv) 50 seats for HIDS Paona Sahib.
Management Quota: (i) 30 seats for HDC Sundernagar, (ii) 30 seats for MNDAV, (iii) 30 seats for BDC Bhud Baddi, (iv) 50 seats for HIDS Paona Sahib.
Entrance Exam and Number of Seats Available: The Director Medical Education & Research has vide its notification has issued approval for conducting Entrance Exam through an Independent agency by the Association of Private Un-aided Dental Colleges of the State of HP at all India level to fill-up Left out / unfilled BDS seats for the academic session 2015-16 after the 1st Counseling done by the State Govt.
Eligibility Criteria for AOPUDC Himachal Pradesh BDS Admission 2016
Applicant will be eligible for appearing in the Entrance Examination for BDS course if he/she is a citizen of India.
Has passed +2 examinations from any Institution recognized by the State Govt. / Govt. of India with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio-technology at the qualifying exam.
In respect of applicants belonging to SC/ST or other BC, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Bio-Technology taken together in qualifying examinations are 40% instead of 50% as prescribed for General applicants. Further, for persons for locomotory disability of lower limbs, the minimum of 45% marks for General PH and 40% marks for SC-PH / ST-PH /OBC-Ph are required. (Or);
B.Sc Examination of an Indian University established by law in India; provided that he/she has passed the B.Sc Exam with not less than two out of (Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany), Zoology) subjects securing 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC) and further that he/she has passed the earlier qualifying exam.
Age: The Applicant must have already completed or should complete the age of 17years and must not have completed 25year of age on 31st December of the year of the concerned competitive examination.
Scheme of Test: The test will be held on Last week of September 2016 (01.00 pm to 03.00 pm at Venue of test Bal Niketan Model Senior Secondary School, Sec 37-A Chandigarh).
The test will consist of one paper carrying multiple-choice questions. It is a 200-marks question paper. Applicants will be given 2hours to complete. There will be no negative marking in case of a wrong answer; duration of the test is 2hours.

To apply, the applicants must download the application form from the official website of the college.
The duly filled application forms must be sent to “The Admission Coordinator, M/S Kalsi IT Solutions, SCO 927, Lane No.7, Nirankari Mohalla, Miller Ganj, Opp. Manju Cinemas, Ludhiana-141003 (Punjab) India”.
The application form should be sent along with a bank draft of Rs.750/- in favour of Kalsi IT Solutions, SCO 927, Lane No. 07, Nirankari Mohalla, Miller Ganj, Opp. Manju Cinemas, Ludhiana-141003 (Punjab).
