AP PGECET Eligibility Criteria 2018

The eligibility criteria for AP PGECET 2018 is described separately for each discipline and course; it is mandatory for the applicant to determine his/her eligibility before applying.

Applicants must be Indian Nationals.

Applicants must also be from Andhra Pradesh and must meet the domicile guidelines.

They must have passed BE/B.Tech/AMIE in the respective disciplines with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case applicant belonging to reserved category).

Applicants who have completed their masters like M.Sc have to check the eligibility criteria specified by the individual university to check their eligibility.

Applicants who have valid GATE scores are exempt from the entrance exam and have to apply separately.

Exam Centres: The exam will be held in centers in the cities of Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Guntur, Tirupathi and Anantapuram.

AP PGECET Hall Ticket 2018

Download the AP PGECET Hall Ticket 2018 from May 01st 2018 from the official website by entering your valid registration ID (received during filling of the application form), DOB and registered mobile number.

AP PGECET Application Form 2018

The Application Form of AP PGECET 2018 is available online only. No offline facility will be provided to the applicants to apply.

The application form is available from March 21st 2018 and the notifications has issued from March 21st 2018. Only the applicants secured 50 % (GEN/OBC) and 45% (SC/ST) are eligible to appear in the test.

AP PGECET Application Fee 2018

Applicants have to pay the fee of Rs.800/- for unreserved category applicants and Rs.400/- for reserved category applicants; the applicants can apply for more than one postgraduate exam under AP PGECET, but they have to pay the separate application fee for each exam.

Interested applicants can pay the application fee through credit/debit card or also pay the fee at AP online center.

Payment Procedure

AP Online

Visit any of the AP Online centers with the following mandatory details:

(a) Name of the Applicant (b) Father Name (c) Date of Birth of the Applicant (d) Hall Ticket No. of  SSC (10th Class) & Month/year of passing (e) Mobile No. & (f) Tests & Papers opted for Exam.

Pay the requisite fee, obtain a receipt for Registration fee paid, and ensure that it contains a Transaction Id.

Login to www.appgecet.org using the “Transaction Id” given above.

Debit /Credit Card

If you choose to make payment using Debit/Credit card mode, go through the Instruction booklet / User Guide carefully and be ready for ALL the required mandatory details. After entering the details above, Click on the “Make Payment” Button.

AP PGECET 2018 Important Dates

Notification of AP PGECET 2018: March 16th 2018 (Friday)

Commencement of Submission of Online application forms: March 21st 2018 (Wednesday)

Last date for submission of online applications without late fee (Registration fee Rs.1000 for OC/BC , Rs.500/-for SC/ST): April 29th 2018 (Sunday)

Last date for submission of online applications with late fee of Rs. 2000/-(+ Registration fee Rs.1000 for OC/BC , Rs.500/-for SC/ST): May 04th 2018 (Friday)

Correction of online application data already submitted by the candidate: April 25th 2018 to May 04th 2018

Downloading of Hall-tickets from the website http://www.sche.ap.gov.in/pgecet: May 01st 2018 (Tuesday) onwards

Date of AP PGECET 2018 Examination: May 10th 2018 (Thursday) to 12-05-2018 (Saturday)

Time of Examination: 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon & 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM in two sessions

Declaration of Preliminary Key: May 14th 2018 (Monday)

Last Date for receiving of objections on Preliminary Key: May 16th 2018 (Wednesday)

Declaration of Results: May 20th 2018 (Sunday)
