AP PECET 2017 | Andhra Pradesh Physical Education Common Entrance Test 2017
Acharya Nagarjuna University, Nagarjuna has invited applications for admission to B.P.Ed (2years) and U.G.D.P.Ed (2 years) courses offered by the Universities and affiliated colleges in Andhra Pradesh State for 2017 sessions through Andhra Pradesh Physical Education CET (APPECET 2017).
Eligibility Criteria for APPECET 2017
Applicants satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for APPECET 2017:
Applicants should be of Indian Nationality.
Applicants should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh only. The applicants should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the AP Educational Institutions (Regulation).
Eligibility for B.P.Ed (2 years): Applicants should have appeared third year degree final exam or passed three years degree recognized by any university in A.P. or any other university recognized as equivalent there to and should have completed 19 years of age on July 01st 2017.
However, the applicant has to submit the pass certificate at the time of counseling.
Eligibility for U.G.D.P.Ed (2 years): Applicants should have appeared or passed Intermediate or equivalent course recognized by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh and should have completed 16 years of age on 01st July 2017.
The in-service Physical Education Teachers (P.E.Ts) seeking admission into B.P.Ed (Two Years) Course or U.G.D.P.Ed (Two Years) Course need not appear for any Entrance Test conducted by APPECET Convener.
They have to apply directly to the Director of School Education, Hyderabad through their respective D.E.O.s through proper channel as per their notification.
APPECET 2017 Exam Pattern
Scheme of Entrance Test for B.P.Ed (Two years) and U.G.D.P.Ed (Two Years), Courses:
The Common Entrance Test for entry of students into B.P.Ed (Two years) and U.G.D.P.Ed (Two years) Courses Comprise of two parts, namely:
a) Physical Efficiency Test and
b) Skill Test in Game.
These tests will be conducted as follows: (a) Physical Efficiency Test: Maximum 400 Marks.
For each of the events, marks shall be awarded, by using the conversion tables approved by the APPECET Committee.
For Men Applicants: (i) 100 meters run; 100 marks; (ii) Putting the shot (6 Kgs); 100 marks; (iii) 800 meters run; 100 marks; (iv) Long Jump/High Jump – 100 marks.
For Women Applicants: (i) 100 meters run; 100 marks; (ii) Putting the shot (4 Kgs); 100 marks; (iii) 400 meters run; 100 marks; (iv) Long Jump/High Jump – 100 marks.
Skill Test in Game: Maximum 100 Marks.
How to Apply?
Eligible Applicants who wish to apply for APPECET 2017 may submit their application through online mode only.
Online Registration Fee is Rs.800/- (for SC & ST applicants Rs.600/- only).
Applicant should pay the Registration Fee (Application Processing Fee) through A.P. Online / Payment Gateways (Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking) provided in the website www.appecet.org.in
Last Date for Submission Online Application without Late Fee April 07th 2017 and with Late Fee April 28th 2017.
