Bharati Vidyapeeth University (BVU) Pune which is a deemed university has invited applications for the Common All India Entrance Test for the admission to MDS programs for 2016 sessions.

BVDU – Dental College & Hospital Pune: MDS in Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge, Periodontology, Oral and Maxillofacial Orthopaedics, Oral Pathology & Microbiology, Conservative Dentistry and Endodonitcs, Oral Medicine & Radiology, Paedodontics and Preventive Dentistry.

BVDU – Dental College & Hospital Navi Mumbai: MDS in Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge, Periodontology, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Paedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics.

BVDU – Dental College & Hospital, Sangli: MDS in Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Paedodontics & Preventive Dentistry.

Eligibility for BVDU Pune MDS Admission 2016

The Applicant must have passed BDS examination from a Dental College recognized by Dental Council of India.

The applicant must have completed one-year compulsory rotating internship on or before 31st March 2016.

He/she will have to produce a certificate of completion of internship before joining the course; the applicant should posses a permanent registration with any State Dental Council or Dental Council of India.

For Admission to Post Graduate Dental Courses, the applicant must secure minimum 50% marks and applicant belonging to SC/ST category minimum 40% marks in the DENPET 2016.

Foreign/NRI/PIO/OCI applicants seeking admission for the postgraduate program in the institution must procure temporary registration by Dental Council of India for the duration of the Postgraduate training to the dental college, which he/she is admitted.

Applicants who have passed post graduate diploma course recognized by the DCI, of the duration of 2 years in particular specialty will be eligible for admission MDS in the same specialty and the duration of his/her MD courses will be 2years.

Exam Pattern for DENPET-2016

The exam will be of 3 hours duration and will consist of one question paper of 200 marks consisting of 200 questions; the test is of objective type; the applicant will be provided with a sealed Test Booklet and an Answer Sheet.

The applicant will write with ball point pen the required information regarding: Name and Roll Number on the Test Booklet and on the Answer Sheet. In the Test Booklet, there will be 200 questions serially numbered from 001 to 200.

Each question will be followed by four responses marked (A), (B), (C) and (D) o these four responses only one will be the correct or the most appropriate response; each correct answer will get one mark. There is no negative marking.

Test Centres: Pune, New Delhi, Navi Mumbai, Sangli, Hyderabad and Vadodar.

How to Apply for BVDU Pune MDS Admission 2016?

Applicant desirous of applying for DENPET 2016 is required to complete the prescribed appended at the end of this Brochure.

The same must registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Bhavan, Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg, Pune 411030 on or before the date for submission mentioned in the calendar of events.

Important Dates for BVDU Pune MDS Admission 2016

Last date for submitting filled-in application forms to BVDU CET Dept., Pune on November 27th 2015 (05.00pm)

Issue of duplicate admission cards to those applicants on December 02nd 2015 (10.00 a.m. respective centre)

Date and time of Common Entrance Test is December 03rd 2015 (11.00am to 02.00pm)

Declaration of Results on will be declared in BVDU Website

Commencement of Course on April 01st 2016
