Five Years Integrated LLB Admission Programme 2017
Gujarat University Admission Committee (GUAC), Gujarat University Ahmedabad has been invited applications for admission to 5 years Integrated LLB Programme for 2017 session.
GUAC Gujarat Integrated LLB Admission Eligibility Criteria
The applicant shall have passed the qualifying examination in the subjects prescribed by the Bar Council of India and/or the Gujarat University by issuance of rules, circulars or directions from time to time from:
- the Gujarat Board;
- the Central Board of Secondary Education;
- the Council of Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi;
- the International School Board;
- applicant who has passed the qualifying exam from any State Board other than the State of Gujarat;
The above boards must be approved and recognized by the Ministry of HRD
Applicant who has passed the qualifying exam at the first attempt with minimum 45 percent of marks or equivalent grade conducted by the Board shall be eligible for admission; the applicants belonging to SC/ST will be given exemption of 5 percent from the above criteria (minimum 40 percent for the applicants of SC/ST categories).
Applicant who has passed the qualifying exam from other than Gujarat Board or CBSE of Gujarat State shall be required to obtain PEC from Gujarat University before registration.
Age Limit: The maximum age for seeking admission is limited to 20 years as on June 01st 2016. However, in case of applicants from SC/ST categories the maximum age limit for seeking admission shall be 22 years as on June 01st 2016.
Reservation of Seats
The seats shall be reserved for the applicants who are of Gujarat origin and falling under the following categories:
Scheduled Castes (SC): 7 percent
Scheduled Tribes (ST): 15 percent
Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC): 27 percent
Applicant seeking admission on reserved seat shall be required to produce a Certificate of Caste issued by the Competent Authority of the State of Gujarat.
GUAC Gujarat Integrated LLB Registration Form
Applicant seeking admission shall apply online, for the registration of his/her candidature, on the website, within the time limit specified by the Admission Committee.
The admission shall be granted to each applicant subject to the verification of original documents, payment of the prescribed fees and fulfilment of all conditions and mandatory requirements within the prescribed period as laid down by the Bar Council of India as well as the Gujarat University by issuance of rules, circulars and orders from time to time.
The Admission Committee will publish the schedule of offline counselling program on its website, by advertisement in the prominent newspapers widely circulated in the university area, by the website or by such other means, as it may consider convenient.
