IGNOU Admission 2020 (January) – Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) announces admission to its distance education academic programs offered through ODL mode for the Academic Session commencing from January 2020. The IGNOU has invited application for the Master’s Courses, Bachelors Courses, Diploma Courses, and various Certificates Programs. Students who are interested to study through distance learning mode, IGNOU are the best place for them. IGNOU conducts programs twice a year (January and July).

IGNOU Admission 2020 Last Date
Applicants who want to take up Postgraduate, Undergraduate, Diploma and Certificate Courses can apply before November 2019 and others are apply before 31st December 2019. Willing students can apply for the admission process online by visiting the official site of IGNOU at ignou.ac.in.

IGNOU Admission (January) 2020
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has initiated the online registration procedures for the admission to approximately 162 Programs for the January 2020 Session. The application form of IGNOU UG and PG Admission for January 2020 session has been released.
The student’s who are interested to apply for the courses must submit the online application form on the official website of the University.

Applications are also invited for admission to MBA (Banking & Finance)* Program, developed collaboratively by School of Management Studies, IGNOU and the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF), Mumbai. In order to seek admission to this Program, an applicant should: (a) be a graduate of not less than 3 year duration from a recognized University/Institution, (b) have passed the CAIIB examinations of the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance, Mumbai and awarded the requisite qualification/credentials thereof by the Institute, and (c) have been working in the Banking or Financial Services Sector for a period of at least two years.
Student Handbook and Prospectus of MBA (Banking & Finance) can be downloaded from IGNOU website link http://ignou.ac.in/userfiles/MBA(B&F).pdf and submitted along with a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1000/-, in addition to the Program fee at the Regional Center.
Admission to these programs is in offline mode. Student’s willing to apply for these programs may download the relevant Prospectus from the IGNOU website and submit the filled-in application along with relevant documents and fee at the Regional Centre.
IGNOU Admission 2020 Application Process
The students can submit the application forms through online mode only at www.ignou.ac.in or https://onlineadmission.ignou.ac.in/admission/.
Steps for filling Online Application Form
- Download the Information Brochure in January 2020 and read it carefully.
- Please ensure your eligibility for the program before filling the online application form
- Click on the button “REGISTER YOURSELF” that appears in the applicant/student log in area and fill the required registration details.
- After filling the mandatory information, click the “SUBMIT” button.
- Your username will be instantly sent to you via e-mail and SMS.
- If you have already registered i.e. you are an existing user, click the “LOGIN” button from the homepage of Online Entrance Test and then login with your Username and password by clicking the “LOGIN” button given on the login screen.
- Fill personal details, program details, qualification details and correspondence details.
- Upload Scanned Photograph (less than 100 KB) and Signature (less than 50 KB).
- Pay your Application Fee through debit/credit card (Master/Visa/Rupay) and Net banking.
- Once you have uploaded your photograph and signature, click the next button. You will get the Form preview option. Save/Print your form for future reference.
IGNOU Admission 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Check some IGNOU admission 2020 Eligibility Criteria like OPENMAT and B.Ed. program below:
For Management Programs:
Qualifying Exam: Applying Student must have done graduation along with a professional degree either in engineering /law/medicine/ ICSI / ICWAI / ICAI compulsorily.
Qualifying Marks: Student must have obtained 50% marks in graduation level (For reserved category- 45% marks).
IGNOU OPENMAT: Students must qualify the IGNOU OPENMAT 2020 to be eligible for admission.
Age Limit: There will be no age bar in IGNOU Admission 2020.
For B.Ed Program:
Qualifying Exam: Applying student must have passed his/her Bachelor’s degree or Master’s from a recognized University OR
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with Mathematics & Science specialization or it’s equivalent with 55% marks.
Qualifying Marks: Students in their Bachelor degree level and Master’s level must have qualified with 50% marks in the Science/ Commerce/ Humanity/ Social Sciences stream.
B.Ed Entrance Test: Applying Student must have qualified IGNOU B.Ed entrance test to get admission.
For Other Programs:
For B.Sc: Student must have completed his/her 10+2 level exams with the Science subjects or its equivalent from a recognized board or university.
For B.C.A: Student must have completed his/her 10+2 level exams or its equivalent from a recognized board or university.
For BBA: Student should have completed his 12th or equivalent based on the merit list in physically fit list.
For Foreign Students:
Foreign students residing in India possessing a valid visa for the minimum duration of the program are eligible.
The admission for foreign students will be processed by the International division of University after getting their clearance from MHRD/MEA.
