Indian Institute of Management – IIM Bangalore has invited applications for admission to Post Graduate Program in Public Policy Management Admission for 2018-19 sessions.
IIM Bangalore PGP Public Policy Eligibility Criteria 2018
Qualification, experience, age and other conditions – as notified by DoPT, Govt. of India/ sponsoring PSU.
Non-Govt./Open Participants: Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline that has been recognized by an authorized body in India; Bachelor’s degree from outside India are also eligible, provided their equivalence to accepted degrees is established. The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the applicant must entail a minimum of 3 years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or its equivalent.
Applicants must have scored at least 55% in each of the following: 10th, 12th and Bachelor’s degree.
Experience: A minimum of four years of work experience (after graduation) in a public policy domain as 31st March 2018.
Age Limit: Maximum of 40 years as on 31st March 2018.
Test Scores: Applicants need to have a valid CAT, GMAT or GRE score at the time of submitting the application, to be considered for admission.
- Applicants may apply for the Common Admission Test (CAT 2017) score. The CAT 2017 scores made available to IIMB will be used in the assessment of the application.
- Applicants may apply with a valid GMAT score. The GMAT Code for IIMB PGPPM is Q9H-KK-94. Use this code to have your score sent directly to IIMB. Your official report from Pearson (for GMAT) will be used in the assessment of the application.
- Applicants may also apply with a valid GRE score. The GRE Code for IIMB PGPPM is 7173. Use this code to have your score sent directly to IIMB.
Applicants who may not be in a position to apply with any of the above test scores may apply with the option of taking the PGPPM Test, which will be conducted on the day of the interviews, for shortlisted applicants. The application fee for those opting for this test is Rs.2500/-.
Interviews: The applicants will be shortlisted for interviews based on their academic background, work experience, test scores (if opted for CAT/GMAT/GRE) and interest in public systems.
Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed in Delhi / Bengaluru. In addition to the Personal Interview, shortlisted applicants will be given a “case analysis” on the day of the interview.
Shortlisted applicants who have opted for PGPPM will be required to appear for the PGPPM test, prior to the interview on the day of the interview.
Program Fee: The Program fee for non-government (open) applicants is Rs. 16,50,000/- (plus GST as applicable or any other tax, if made applicable by law) which includes tuition fee, books/course material, international immersion module, library services, computer facilities and membership fee to the alumni association.
Scholarship: Based on overall performance as per the admissions criteria, Applicants who are not sponsored by their organizations, are eligible to be considered for a merit-based scholarship upto Rs. 5 lakhs.

Non-Govt. /Open Participants: Applicants can submit the applications online at http://www.iimb.ernet.in/programmes/post_graduate/pgppm from September 25th, 2017. The deadline for submission of fully completed applications is February 10th 2018 (5:00 p.m.).

– Rs.1500/- for applicants applying with CAT or GMAT or GRE score
– Rs.2500/- for applicants opting to take IIMB test
