IIT Mandi HP Integrated Phd Programs 2016 | Phd in Physics

Phd Admission in Physics 2016 at Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi (HP)

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi, Himachal Pradesh has invited applications for admission to the Integrated PhD Program in Physics for 2016-17 sessions starting from August 2016.

Last Date for Submission of the Application Forms: May 15th 2016

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should be Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) with major in Physical Sciences/Mathematics; minimum marks in B.Sc 55% or CGPA 5.5 (for SC/ST applicants 50% or CGPA 5.0).

Applicants appearing for final exams of their Bachelor’s Program in 2016 can also apply and if selected can join the program provisionally; at the time of the interview/counseling they must bring a certificate in original from the Head of the Institute stating by 30th July 2016, she/he will appear/have appeared for exam in all subjects required for obtaining his/her Bachelor’s degrees”.

In case such applicants fail to secure above-mentioned marks, the provisional admission will be terminated with immediate effect.

Selection Mode

Shortlisted applicants will be selected through written exam (conducted by IIT Mandi) followed by an interview.
