Lady Meherbai D Tata Education Trust Scholarships 2018 for Women
The Trust has been invited applications for the Lady Meherbai D. Tata Education Trust Scholarships 2018 to be awarded to the Indian women graduates of recognized Indian universities to pursue higher education abroad.
The scholarship is awarded in the following fields of study: Social Work; Social Science; Education; Education and Welfare of Children with Special Needs; Status-Health and Empowerment of Women; Gender Studies; Child Health, Development, Nutrition; Health Policy and Health Education; Public Health – Community Health Services, Reproductive Health; Rural Development Work (with a focus on women and children); Communication for Development (with a focus on women’s issues).
Eligibility Criteria for Scholarships 2018
Only female applicants with a graduate degree from a recognized Indian university are eligible to apply.
The applicants must have a consistent and remarkable academic background.
Applicants should have already applied for or secured admission in any university in the USA, UK or Europe for the 2016-17 academic sessions (these courses can’t be short, part-time or correspondence based).
Work experience in the requisite fields will be considered an added qualification.
Application Form – How to Apply?
Applicants applying for part-time, short-term or correspondence courses are not eligible to apply.
Application forms will be sent via (post /courier /email) to the applicants upon submission of a neatly-typed letter/email giving details of the course they wish to pursue, the University to be attended, the course fee required to be paid, sources of funding and their current profile, along with documents for the same.
The application forms will be available from the Lady Meherbai D Tata Education Trust’s office at Mulla House, 3rd floor, 51 M.G. Road, Mumbai-400001.
