Eligibility Criteria

For Maharashtra State Applicant and Outside Maharashtra State Applicant: Student qualifying in MIT NAT-2019 will be only considered for admissions to professional courses under the University and will eligible for admissions as per section 2.1 of this document.

Admissions to all professional courses under MIT ADT University, Pune will be effected on the basis of merit obtained by the student in respective entrance examinations as per section 2.1 of this document.

Eligibility Criteria for Under-Graduate (UG) Programs:

  • B.Tech
  • The student must have passed (10 + 02) board examination of State Board or CBSE or ICSE or IB with subjects’ group of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Technical Vocational Subjects.
  • Open Category student should have scored minimum 50% Marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with English as a subject.
  • Reserved Category student should have scored minimum 45% Marks Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with English as a subject.
  • In addition to this, the applicant must have qualified at least one engineering entrance examination like MHT-CET 2019-20/JEE (Mains 2019-20)/other states entrance exam of current year / Uni-GAUGE-E 2018.
  • Reserved Category students should fulfill the criteria of caste & caste validity certificate as per the norms of Govt. of Maharashtra.
  • There is no age limit for admission.
  • Faculty of BioEngineering (B.Tech.)/ (B.Tech.+M.Tech) Integrated
  • All the Applicants passed/appearing at the qualifying examination i.e. HSC/12th Board examination or its equivalent examination and having Indian Nationality are eligible for appearing for MHT-CET 2018.
  • There is no age limit for admission.
  • The Applicant should be an Indian National;
  • Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects, and obtained at least required percentage of marks (as notified by the Government from time to time) in the above subjects taken together;
  • The obtained score in JEE (Mains) Paper-I or MHT-CET 2018 or Uni-GAUGE 2018 or Any Other State CET conducted by the Competent Authority.

Faculty of Food Technology (B.Tech)

  • The Applicant should be an Indian National;
  • Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects, and obtained at least required percentage of marks (as notified by the Government from time to time) in the above subjects taken together;
  • The obtained score in JEE (Mains) Paper-I or MHT-CET 2018 or Uni-GAUGE 2018 or Any Other State CET conducted by the Competent Authority.

Architecture Programs (B.Arch.)

  • Specialization in General Management (3 Years); Retail Management (3 Years); International Business (3 Years); Real Estate Management (3 Years).
  • Students willing to peruse Program B.Architecture must appear for  NATA Aptitude Test or JEE Paper 2: All Admissions to Architecture degree course shall be subject to the passing of National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) (www.nata.in) or JEE Paper 2 conducted by the Council of Architecture.
  • A merit list of qualified Applicants will be made considering 50% marks from the aggregate of HSC or equivalent examination and 50% marks of the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) or JEE Paper 2. The basis for eligibility being;
  • Minimum 40 % (80 marks out of 200 marks) marks in NATA or JEE Paper 2

Marine Engineering (B.Tech.)

  • Applicant should be an Indian National and should have passed the (10 + 2) level examination of State Board of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / CBSE/ ICSC/ IGCSE/IB or any other State Board examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as compulsory subjects with minimum of 60% marks & 50% marks in English.

Applicant should be an Indian National and should have passed the (10 + 2) level examination of State Board of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / CBSE/ ICSC/ IGCSE/IB or any other State Board exam with Science, Commerce, Art or any other discipline with minimum of 50% marks (minimum 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability Applicants belonging to Maharashtra State only)

Applicants willing to take admission for BFA (Applied Art) must have appeared for MH (AAC) CET-2019

Eligibility Criteria for Post-Graduate (PG) Programs:

Technology Programs

Engineering / Food Technology / Bioengineering (M.Tech)

  • Applicants willing to take admission for M. Tech. program should have Graduate Degrees (BE / B. Tech) in respective programs and must have appeared for GATE 2019 & MIT-NAT 2019 with the score of non-zero marks.

Management Programme (MBA)

  • Eligibility: Any graduate with minimum 50% of marks (MBA GEN & MBA Retail), 50% B.Sc Agri, Food Tech. for MBA AFBM. Valid scorecard of either of the entrance examination CET / CAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ AIMA/ AIMA/ GMAT etc. If the student has not appeared for any entrance examination shall appear for PERA foundation entrance exam scheduled on May 27th, 2018.
  • Selection Process: Student is required to clear the following selection process (a) Written Test (online) (b) Group Discussion (c) Personal Interview.

Master of Design (M.Des.)

  • The basic eligibility for admissions in the Master of Design Program is Graduate or its equivalent (10+2+3 minimum), the students have to clear the admission process comprising of Design Aptitude Test followed by studio test & personal interview.

Diploma

MIT NAT 2019 Entrance Exam

Guidelines for the entrance tests MIT NAT 2019 for admission into the Undergraduate (UG) and the Post-Graduate (PG) programs in Technology, Management and other courses specified in the list.

In MIT-NAT 2019, Applicants will be evaluated to test their abilities which is really required for all professional courses.

General English communication skills, comprehension, grammar.

Ability to solve the problem to address any given situation or set of issues (attitude towards problem-solving).

Ability to keenly observe any given thing or situation (keenness of perception). This goes beyond just “looking” at a thing rather than more of “seeing”.

  • Each Question Paper consist of 125 Marks

MCQ Test paper will be based on, English Language – 20 Marks / Aptitude-15 Marks/ Reasoning-15 Marks/Physics -25 Marks / Chemistry- 25 Marks / Math’s- 25 Marks 0r Biology – 25 marks (Biology is a compulsory subject for Food technology and Bioengineering students).

MCQ Test paper will be based on the English Language – 20 Marks / Aptitude-15 Marks/ Reasoning-15 Marks/Graduate level core subject knowledge – 75 Marks

MBA, BBA, B. Sc., M. Sc., MA, BA MCQ Test paper will be based on English Language – 20 Marks / Aptitude-15 Marks/ Reasoning-15 Marks/ Graduate or 10+2 level core subject- 75 Marks.

Fine Art, Performing Art, Mass Communication & Other Programs, the Online Computer-based exam of Multiple Chose Questions (MCQ), will be conducted based on Aptitude, Reasoning, General Knowledge, English & Core Subjects.

MIT ADT University Application Form 2019

All the Admissions to the MIT ADT University are done on the basis of the merit as per the UGC guideline. Applicants willing to apply must satisfy the required eligibility criteria.

In the routine procedure, Applicant can apply through the online Application Form and then they need to appear for the Entrance test conducted by the University and then has to undergo valid GD/PI round if required.
