NCHMCT JEE 2020 Notification

NCHMCT JEE 2020: NCHMCT JEE 2020 application form will be released from January 2020. National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT) conducts the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) to offer admission in 3 years of B.Sc Hospitality & Hotel management courses. NCHMCT JEE 2020 would be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for the coming academic session. A total of 8,124 seats will be allotted across the NCHM JEE 2020 participating institutes on merit basis. NTA is an agency of the central government.

NCHMCT JEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Before filling the application form, applicants will have to check if they are eligible to apply NCHMCT JEE. All applicants should have submitted their physical fitness certificate approved by a registered medical practitioner in the specified format as mentioned in the official website.

The common eligibility criteria for all courses are:

Educational Qualification

  • Applicants should have cleared the secondary and senior secondary level of an exam with English as a compulsory subject. Clearing the English subject is mandatory.
  • Applicants appearing for a final exam and awaiting final result are also eligible to apply for the exam (provided they submit their proof of qualifying 10+2 standard exam along with other eligibility conditions at the time of admission or counseling).
  • Applicants who have finished 12 years of official schooling in order are eligible to apply for the program.
  • High School Certificate Examination of Cambridge University.
  • Any Public-School Examination in India or in a foreign country acknowledged by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education.
  • H.S.C. Vocational Examination accepted by NCVT and SCVT of the state applicant belongs to.

Age Limit

  • The higher age limit for General and OBC applicants is 22 years as on 1st August 2020.
  • The higher age limit for SC/ST is 25 years as on 1st August 2020.
  • Applicant should fulfill the minimum age criteria set by the exam conducting body.

NCHMCT JEE 2020 Application Form

Applicants are eligible to apply for NCHMCT JEE if they have completed their 10+2 (or equivalent examination) from a recognized board with English as a subject. The application process for NCHMCT JEE is likely to commence from January 2020.

Students can check here the details of online application form of NCHMCT JEE 2020:

  • NCHMCT JEE Application Form 2019 has been released in online mode.
  • The online application form has been released from January 2020 to April 2020.
  • Students should fill all the details on the application form carefully.
  • Applicants have to upload the scanned image of the recent photograph (online mode).
  • Applicants should take a print copy of the completely filled-in application form for future use.
  • There is no option for sending of the off-line/hard copy of application form.

Application Fee

  • The Application fee is INR 800 (GEN or OBC) & INR 400 (SC/ST/PD).
  • Students can pay the fee through online mode using Credit/Debit Card.

NCHMCT 2020 Admit Card

The admit card is available online on the official website. NCHMCT JEE 2020 admit card is available from 1st April 2020 onwards to download. NCHMCT Admit card is not be delivered to applicant via courier or post services. Applicants will not be allowed to enter the exam hall without admit card.

You shall also bring one photo ID proof:

  • Driving license
  • Voter ID
  • PAN card
  • Aadhar card or any other govt. ID and

Notarized Affidavit with the photo in which the photo of the applicant is attached and clearly visible.

Applicants will not be permitted to appear for NCHMCT JEE 2020 without showing correct and suitable photo identification.

Applicants are advised to download two copies of NCHMCT Admit Card 2020 because one has to be self-attested and deposited to the invigilator for his/her signature & which will be preserved and which will be required during counseling procedure and then another one has to be carried along on the date of the examination.

Steps to Download Admit Card

  • Firstly, visit the official website
  • Locate the “Admit card” tab.
  • Click on the tab
  • The admit card will get opened in a separate screen and can be downloaded from here.

NCHMCT JEE 2020 Exam Pattern

  • The NCHMCT JEE exam date is on the 25th April 2020 (10.00 am to 1.00 pm).

Subject

  • Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude (30 questions); Reasoning and Logical Deduction (30 questions); General Knowledge & Current Affairs (30 questions); English Language (60 questions) and Aptitude for Service Sector (50 questions).

Total No. of Questions: 200 and Duration of 3.00 Hours.

  • Question Paper will be bilingual i.e. in English and Hindi (except for the English Language).
  • Each correct answer under Numerical Ability & Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning & Logical Deduction, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, and English Language components carry four marks.
  • For any wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

NCHMCT 2020 Exam Centres

Applicants should choose any one Test Centre from the following 33 Test Centres for appearing in the Written Exam: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Dehradun, Gangtok, Goa, Gurdaspur, Guwahati, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Jammu, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Puducherry, Pune, Raipur, Shimla, Siliguri, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram and Varanasi.

NCHM JEE Syllabus 2020

There will be no prescribed NCHMCT JEE 2020 syllabus for the examination. Applicants can prepare for the exam according to the given subjects. The subjects are Numerical Ability & Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning & Logical Deduction, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, and English Language.
