North South Foundation Merit cum Means Scholarship 2019 for UG Students

NSF Scholarship 2019 for UG Students: North South Foundation of USA is announced the scholarship program for the academic year 2019-20. It is a merit cum means scholarship is given to students of Engineering (both degree and diploma), Bachelor in medicine (MBBS), BDS, Veterinary Science, B.Sc Agriculture, BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery), B.Pharma and B.Sc. Nursing.

NSF Scholarship Amount

  • Scholarship amount varies from Rs.8000/- to Rs.25000/- per annum depending on the course.

Merit Norms

Under Graduate (Non-Diploma Courses): Students should have secured at least 85% marks in 10th and 12th standard examinations respectively.

Lateral Entry: Students should have secured least 85% marks in 10th and 80% marks in diploma engineering.

Diploma Courses: A minimum of 80% marks in the 10th standard examinations.

Past Studies: The student should have preferably studied in a Govt/Govt aided school/college. Applications in respect of students who have studied in a private school will also be considered provided the annual fees paid by them does not exceed Rs. 15,000.00 for 10th class and Rs.30,000.00 for 12th or +2 and diploma courses.

  • Last Date for Online Registration for Scholarship is November 30th, 2019

NSF Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2019

  • For the students appearing for and qualifying in the All India National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) for Medicine, a numerical rank up to 70,000 will be considered.
  • For the students appearing for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), the ranks shall not exceed 90,000.
  • All India rank shall be considered for awarding scholarship irrespective of the state rank/category rank secured by the student. Ranks up to 10000 for lateral entry into Engineering and up to 5000 for Diploma Engineering are eligible for the scholarship.

Family Income

  • Students whose family income does not exceed Rs.1,00.000/- per annum shall be eligible to apply for the scholarship.

  • The applications are to be filled and submitted online through this link https://www.northsouth.org/app6/Login.aspx
  • The hard copies of the applications are to be submitted in pdf format through proper channel to D.D. Moondra, 201, Shiv Sunder, 42A PWD Colony, Jodhpur and Dr. (Mrs) Padmja Sharma, 15B, Panchvati Colony, Near Senapati Bhawan, Jodhpur.
