Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) Gandhinagar has invited applications for admission into Bachelor of Arts (B.A) (Hons) / Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) (Hons), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) (Hons) Programs in various disciplines offered by the School of Liberal Studies (SLS) for 2018 session.

Intake across the Programs is 460 seats.
The number of proposed seats available for admission: 280 students in A, 120 students in B and 60 students in C20 Seats – for Postgraduate Program in English, Public Administration and Policy and International Relations.

Eligibility for BA BBA BCom Admission 2018
The students seeking admissions to B.A. (Hons) / BBA (Hons) are required to have passed 12th standard examination from any discipline, while those who seek admissions to B.Com (Hons) are required to have passed 12th standard examination from Commerce stream or must have studied commerce related subjects in 12th standard.
For B.A (Hons)/BBA (Hons) Programs
Applicants are required to have passed 12th standard examination or equivalent from any discipline.
For B.Com (Hons) Program
Applicants are required to have passed 12th standard examination or equivalent from commerce stream or should have studied accounting and/or commerce related subjects in 12th standard.
For B.Sc (Hons) Program
Applicants should have passed 12th standard examination or equivalent from science stream or with minimum any 2 of the following subjects – Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Final Exam of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy.
School of Liberal Studies conducts its own national entrance exam for students interested in taking admission for the undergraduate and postgraduate program.
The admission process consists of written test followed by personal interview. The written test evaluates the applicant’s competence in the following areas: English, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge, Essay Writing.

The filled in application form along with a demand draft (DD) of Rs.1200/- drawn in favour of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) and payable at Ahmedabad must be sent to Convener, Admission Committee, School of Liberal Studies, Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University Raisan (Gandhinagar), Gujarat-382007 by speed post or DTDC courier.
Exam Test Centers
Written Test and Personal Interview will be conducted at the following cities on May 26th 2018:
Gandhinagar, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bangalore, New Delhi, Surat, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Vadodara and Indore.
All applicants are advised to visit the website on regular basis for updates regarding the test centers and other details. Test centers are subject to change at the discretion of the university.
The Interview may be conducted on next days after the entrance test, depending on the number of applicants at respective centers.
Statutory Reservation: For the applicant from Indian States and UT’s:
- Scheduled Tribe (ST) 7.5%
- Scheduled Caste (SC) 15 %
Physically challenged will be provided 3% reservation in each category
