Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) Jaipur has invited applications for centralized admission to M.Sc. (Medical) Course being run in various constituent and affiliated Government Medical Colleges of the state.

Tentative Seat Matrix

The tentative number of available seats in each subject is given below. The exact number of seats shall be notified before counseling.

  • Anatomy (12 Seats)
  • Biochemistry (16 Seats)
  • Physiology (12 Seats)
  • Pharmacology (06 Seats)
  • Microbiology (11 Seats)

Total Seats: 57 seats.

In the Govt. Colleges, 100% seats (of the intake sanctioned) shall be filled through RUHS M.Sc. (Med) Entrance Exam followed by counseling /allotment process.

MSc Medical Eligibility Criteria

All residents of India fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned below can apply to Rajasthan. University of Health Sciences for admission to M.Sc. (Medical) Courses in different Govt. Colleges affiliated to RUHS, Jaipur.

Educational Qualification

For M.Sc. (Medical) in Anatomy; Biochemistry; Physiology; Pharmacology; Microbiology: A pass* in MBBS (with the completion of compulsory internship)/A pass in BDS (with the completion of compulsory internship) / A pass in B.V.Sc & AH with 60% marks in the first attempt/A pass in B.Sc. (Biology with Chemistry and Zoology) with 60% marks in the first attempt.

For M.Sc. (Medical) in Microbiology; Biochemistry: A pass* in B.Sc. (Biotechnology) Integrated with 60% marks in the first attempt.

For M.Sc. (Medical) Microbiology: A pass* in B.Sc. (Microbiology) with 60% marks in the first attempt.

MSc Medical Reservation

The reservation is applicable in Govt. Colleges. The reservation of seats will be made subject to statutory provisions enacted by Govt. of Rajasthan.

Applicants seeking the benefit of reservation shall be required to produce for verification, the caste certificate (SC/ST/Non-creamy layer OBC, Non-creamy layer SBC).

MSc Medical Fee Structure

The applicants shall be required to pay the prescribed fee for the course.

Applicants can apply online on www.ruhsraj.org.

Before filling the online application form, read the information booklet and instructions for filling online application form etc. very carefully. Ensure the eligibility and other requirements for admission as given in this booklet.

Applicants should be very careful in filling-up the online application form. If any lapse is detected during the scrutiny, your candidature will be rejected even if you come through the final stage of admission process or even at a later stage.

All applicants are required to deposit non-refundable Application Fee of Rs.5000/- (Rs.2500/- for SC/ST of Rajasthan state) plus Applicable e-Mitra Service charges at any e-Mitra/CSC Kiosk Center Authorized by the Govt. of Rajasthan or using http://emitra.gov.in/ (through Internet Explorer only).

Start date for filling of online application form at RUHS website: July 28th, 2018 (after 5.00 pm)

Last date for depositing the fees through e-Mitra/CSC network: August 24th, 2018 (5.00 pm)

Last date for submitting the online application form at RUHS website: August 24th, 2018

Admit card download: August 30th, 2018 (5:00 pm onwards)

Date of Admission Test (computer based): September 03rd 2018

Declaration of result: September 08th 2018 (Tentative)

Date of online first counseling /allotment information on website: September 15th, 2018 (Tentative)
