SNU Noida PhD Admissions 2016 in Physics
Shiv Nadar University (SNU), Noida has invited applications for admission to Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program at the Department of Physics in the School of Natural Sciences for the session January 2016.
PhD Program in following research areas: Soft Matter Physics; Smart Multiferroic Materials; Theoretical & Computational Many-Body Physics; Electronic; Investigating; Statistical Investigation of Chaotic and Non-Equilibrium Statistical Mechanics.
Eligibility Criteria for Shiv Nadar University Phd Physics Admission 2016
Applicant must have (or expect to have by December 2015) a Masters degree in the appropriate science discipline, with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade point.
Applicants who have qualified for CSIR-UGC NET-JRF, DBT-JRF, GATE-JRF, JEST, ICMR-JRF, or NBHM Fellowship are preferred.
Short-listed applicants will be required to demonstrate their knowledge through an on-site written test and interview. Selections will be based on past academic performance, written examination and/or interview.
Financial Assistance: All applicants admitted to the PhD Program are eligible for Teaching/Research Assistant-ships of Rs.35,000/- per month along with tuition fee and hostel fee waiver.
