BSc Catering and Hotel Management Course 2017 at VIT University Vellore

VIT University Vellore has invited applications for admission to B.Sc Degree Program in Catering & Hotel Management for 2017 sessions.

Eligibility Criteria for BSc Catering and Hotel Management Course

Applicants who have studied in Regular, Full time and Formal Education are alone eligible to apply.

Applicants should have secured an aggregate of 60% and above in their +2 examination to be eligible to apply.

The aggregate marks obtained in the subjects in +2 (or its equivalent) put together should be 50% for the following categories:

a) Applicants belonging to SC/ST.

b) Applicants hailing from Jammu & Kashmir and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.

Age Limit: Applicants whose date of birth falls on or after 01st July 1997 are eligible to apply. The date of birth as recorded in the High School/SSC/X Certificate will be considered authentic.

Selection Procedure

Applicants should produce this certificate in original as a proof of their age at the time of counselling, failing for which they will be disqualified.

Fee Details

  • Tuition Fees (per annum) – Rs.90000/- (INR)
  • Special Fees (Inclusive of Exam fees, Library etc) – Rs.10000/- (INR)
  • Admission Fees (One time payment) – Rs.2000/- (INR)
  • Caution Deposit (Refundable) (One time payment) – Rs.1000/- (INR)
  • Total Fees – Rs.103000/-

How to Apply?

Application Form can also be downloaded from website; the cost of application is Rs.350/- (application cost is non-refundable)

Stage 1: New User Registration Enter all the relevant details carefully. A password will be sent from VIT to your registered mobile no. and email id. All the communications will be sent to your registered email id and mobile no.

Stage 2: Confirmation of password; login to Step 2 with the email id and password received from VIT.

Stage 3: Filling Online Application Form Provide all the relevant details carefully, before submission; an application number will be generated after submission.

Stage 4: Mode of Payment. DD Mode-Get ready with DD of Rs.350/- drawn in favour of ‘VIT University’ payable at Vellore Online mode (Net banking/Debit card/Credit card).
